EL products must be powered by a driver specific to the length of wire or area of panel.
Please be careful with your selection. If your total EL length falls short of the parameters of the driver it may reduce the life or the wire or damage it beyond repair. If your EL length exceeds parameters it won't glow to optimal brightness, if at all.
Multiple connections can be made from the same driver unit - see 'splitter wires' under the category EL accessories.
If you are at all unsure about which driver you need or you cannot see it on our site please email us as we can customise.
All inverters emit a slight high pitched buzz due to the high frequency of the current.
WARNING:
Powering your Inverter without EL wire or EL panel attached will burn the inverter.
Running your EL devise on an inverter meant for a larger surface area or length will cause the EL device to overheat, followed by reduced function or complete failure.

Our newest 'Tiny Tim' is a bit more robust and better looking.
It requires only one battery - CR2032
It is designed to power 0.5m EL at full brightness. You can run up to 80cm EL wire but it won't be so bright.
As it is so tiny, this inverter can be hidden easily making it great for glowing bracelets, necklaces, head gear, hat deco, table centre pieces etc.
To order less than 1m EL to go with this inverter, please email us and we will email back an invoice.
Warning: If you run less than 0.3m of EL with this inverter, the warranty will not be valid.
